  1. Ewwww the vegetables are supposed to disintegrate not stay in those chunks

  2. I’ve had this prepared so many ways, with or without garlic, tomato soup in the filling, and sometimes toppped with cheese. Even though there is vegetables and potatoes in the dish, I have been asked “what are we having with it?” I’ve served it with lettuce wedges and dressing.

  3. Lol, I thought it was mac ‘n cheese on the top 0.0

  4. i fully understand you guys.i get angry when i see people make gumbo wrong lol!!!!!

  5. @samn100 wut

  6. I enjoyed your Julia Child chicken but this “Kraft-recipe” with all frozen things and lousy cheese and fake ketchup instead of worcestihre sauce will make her turn in her grave……

  9. Wow Thanks you so much. This looks so good! It looks great for the family!!!!!

  10. KUNT FOOD

  11. This dish only needs 4 ingredients: Your preferred meat, frozen corn, gravy and mashed potatoes, anything else is an abomination and does not deserve the name shepherds pie.

  12. @CainmosniMirrored Not a fan of corn, I use carrots/peas instead. Garlic/onions make the filling fragrant and I like a little tomato to give it some sweet/tartness. And cheese goes great with shepherd’s pie.

  13. @mageodarkness I bet you’re the type of person who puts tomatoes and celery in thin soup with beef potatoes and carrots and calls it beef stew. Beef stew has thick gravy with potatoes, carrots, beef, onions and nothing else. If you are going to experiment and change a recipe around, fine, just call it something different because once you change the formula it is not the same dish.

  14. @CainmosniMirrored you dont get it do you how can you say that your variation of beef stew is the definitive one there are thousands of recipes for beef stew there is no one set recipe that can only be called beef stew and no if im making a beef stew the gravy must be thick and no tomatoes or celery although i do add some tomato puree

  15. You don’t know how to cook

  16. Shepards pie is made with lamb…because shepards herd LAMBS…cottage pie is made with ground beef……….just to let you know…dont matter but just for knowledge sake….lol

  17. @CainmosniMirrored also, purists are a pain in the TRALALALALA!

  18. Ahhh yes! The British definitely know their way around Sheperd’s Pie! Some make it with beef, others with lamb. It’s really your taste buds that decide which one. I personally don’t care for lamb, so I use beef. They both taste marvelous I’m sure. Thanks for sharing this video.

  19. its not shepherds pie! shepherd pie uses lamb. This is Cottage pie!

  20. @Dojocho In early cookery books, the dish was a means of using leftover roasted meat of any kind, and the pie dish was lined with mashed potato as well as having a mashed potato crust on top.

The term “shepherd’s pie” did not appear until the 1870s, and since then it has been used synonymously with “cottage pie”, regardless of whether the principal ingredient was beef or mutton.

  21. Looks tastey, but Shepherd’s Pie? I don’t think so.

  22. for some reason, this doesn’t look as good as when gordon ramsey made this. :/
