  3. My catfish began stuck together after mashing it with oil and breadcrumbs
    but it fell apart in the oil. It came out like crispy crumbs instead of a
    nice pancake shape. I believe my oil was not hot enough despite being at
    max flame for at least 25 minutes. Other possible mistakes: catfish not
    cooked and dry enough prior to hot oil frying and maybe I used too much oil
    (like a deep fry). This technique will require some practice. Still it
    was delicious even if the texture was wrong.?
